About Nicholsons

Nicholson Nurseries has been one of the Midland’s leading suppliers of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants to the horticultural trade for over twenty-five years.

Founded by Roderick Nicholson, who remains a key figure within the business to this day, the company is now managed on a day-to-day basis by Niel and Liz Nicholson, ably assisted by a workforce of over twenty skilled and qualified staff.

Located in the delightful village of North Aston on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds, Nicholsons is steadily expanding its cultivated ground within a plot of some 27 acres adjoining the extensive parkland of North Aston Hall.

More than 90% of the nursery stock is grown on site, from liners, and brought on within polythene tunnels before being hardened off in extensive outdoor beds.

While remaining largely wholsale, the Nursery does now include a Plant Centre, where amateur gardeners and horticulturalists may select plants from Nicholsons' comprehensive catalogue. Although based in Oxfordshire, Nicholsons is happy to provide services in Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.

Opening Hours
Opening hours for the Nurery and Plant Centre are:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
