Shows Attended
in 2006:
Malvern
Spring Gardening Show
11-14th May 2006
Nicholsons exhibited in the Garden Life Pavilion at
this year's Malvern Spring Fair, Worcestershire. This
new Pavilion proved to be a beautifully staged showcase
for around two-dozen handpicked, garden-related exhibitors,
and included a number of specialist nurseries carefully
chosen to excite the passionate plant hunter. There were
many and varied garden sundries on offer and the Pavilion
was indeed the 'must see’ destination for all show
visitors.

Great
Tew Horse Trials
10-11th June 2006
After being welcomed as a great success in its first year,
the Great Tew Horse Trials, Oxfordshire, returned in 2006,
and proved even more popular! Nicholson Nurseries once
again sponsored a fence on the cross-country course.

Wychwood
Forest Fair
27th August 2006
The original Forest Fair began in the late 18th century,
but ceased in 1856, because of 'drunkeness and debauchery'.
Thankfully, The Wychwood Project, supported by the Friends
of Wychwood, revived the tradition in 2000 without any
repeat of the earlier problems! Now a regular on the country
show scene, the Fair is staged at Charlbury.

Moreton
Show
2nd September 2006
A delightful rural show in the traditional manner, with
a friendly atmosphere and a very hands-on feel. Get up-close
and personal with the nation's finest Hereford cattle,
or meet the staff from Nicholsons. Either way, it is always
a day to remember.
